Consequential?

Consequences - reactions, punishments, or simple attributes tied to certain life actions?
Randomness....

If you think something opposite of another person, how is that middle compromise found? Commonly, through discussion, arguing, mediation, confrontation, reasoning, working together, the list goes on and on. But what if the common way fails or isn't the best solution to gain a satisfaction from the result?

I think I want to discover some new ways, and here is my list:
Mind Control, elaborated schemes to manipulate common interest and opinions, rhetoric, pranks, sarcasm, egotistical explanations that just don't make sense until you make it true.

Yep, those are my new solutions to dealing with people and social interaction. How fun will it be to completely do the opposite and sometimes mindless methods of interaction to achieve the same result common sense could have easily produced. I think its going to be grand, we will have to wait and see if I can do this or if I simply drive myself out of my own mind.

Either way, its going to be an experiment that will create some absolutely fascinating situations that I plan on embellishing in.

Attention!

Ladies and Gentlemen, these are some bad ass tattoos:

Now, first off, I have been a fan of John Mayer since he started, and have always respected and even emulated his mind-blowing guitar work since I've started playing, I am simply declaring he might be a pop star currently, but try to imagine what kind of unpredictable music he will make with his guitar and blues talent when he ISN'T a young teen icon and an aging musician? Only time will tell...

On further note on today's theme of tattoos, heres another one about some band thats been popping around in my head recently (this blog was supposed to mainly be about music wasn't it?):

Straight out of Atlanta, GA..... enter the Mastodon. Heavy, methodic, deep band member experienced lyrics, shredding guitar solos the right way for once, Mastodon is a Heavy band for any musician. Their drummer tears up jazz metal beats that will blow your mind. The bassists vocals will stun you while he tears it apart amist keeping driving Mastodon's insanity into your ears. Both guitarists are amazing, they can perform perfectly live no matter what place their heads are at because "what we play is so infused into us from writing that we know it easily even tho you might think it complicated"

The highlight of the band to me is guitarist/lead vocalist Brent Hines. Featured above in the picture, he stands out as the intimidating forefront of this band. Believe me, dig into this band and you will see how all of them are very deep and very prominent members if not the best, however that is what makes this band cross the border so many bands can not, into the category of legendary. Brent Hines stands out to me, however I don't doubt a different member of this band stands out to you. Each of them are special, and combined this band is already exploding right now, touring with Metallica, and featured in Rolling Stone.

Enough me being a music reporter of probably old news because I'm new to this stuff, ummm... let me think of something....

Can't, so I'm out for tonight:

New Day New Thoughts

A new day brings out unexpected experiences. Just going to class on a Monday you see new people, witness unknown conflicts and conversations, and just absorb unfamiliar stimulus's.

That is the simplest example of inference from experience. A very complex example would be my undertaking of becoming a Camp Laney Counselor this summer. I will be living in the woods for 3 months, learning completely new perspectives about life from 8-14 year old boys. Their stories and jokes might influence a feeling of nostalgia, but that is the base of growth into new self-development.
I'm anxious about throwing myself into a whole new world for 3 months. Unlike studying abroad, I am completely aiming for self-growth and maturity through exploring a former major part of who I am (I was a camper for 8 years) and understanding what lessons brought me to this present reality.

Ummmmm

Sleep is for dreamers, therefore do I prefer the reality I distaste mostly over the would-be imagination of something? I don't sleep alot by relying on my dreams. Yet dreams keep hope in line. They preserve it. Yet sometimes mine simply dissolve it. And in doing so it has made me a "non sleeper", thus diminishing my ability to become a dreamer. But nowadays, is that so bad?

Bound for the Floor

"No, I won't give you a ride, I'm too fucked up to be dealing with that kinda shit this hour" (circa 3:35)
God Damn. If reality could be a prescribed philosophy, maybe people might realize today how they are living an otter lie. If this, you, my reader (hahaha what am I kidding? no one reads this) believes I am speaking nonsense, then simply understand its a reference to an improper opinion on an important matter. I'm still awake because like they say, sleep is for dreamers, while I've feared dreaming for so long.

High Gravity? Eh... I'll go for something out of the atmosphere please.

In recognition to the days events, certain imbalances have been re centered. Those recent certainties might be named however I prefer a slight pursuit in having these "things" brought to light from an objective point of view. (Good thing no one reads this blog, because I enjoy driving myself crazy from confusion)

So now on to the most recent discussion based unfortunately upon how effective a dose of reality would be in someone's individual self-absorbed life. To begin, a quote from Radiohead: "You do it to yourself you do, and thats what really hurts. You do it to yourself, just you and no one else." Essentially, I decree that certain people can't accept reality. Of course in the simplest argument, I could reference a character in Gossip Girl. *And by all means, I am not just picking on girls, because Jersey Shore's guys take the crown.* But thats ok, my stance is simple: when conversing with a (person) who is completely convinced into "their" own surreality, it is impossible to reach any sort of conclusion upon these uneven playing fields. Upon realizing this during conversation, a dose of reality, in effort to counteract the false surreality of the (person), is necessary; yet how can it possibly be administered? That is the key to the ignition, however the key doesn't quite fit. In such attempts I have done, the key (or dose of reality) cannot fit the situation properly, simply because the surrealist cannot comprehend the extent of their own actions, nor rationalize the realists opinion. To conclude, a dreamer is essentially a misconception, solely because they skip over reality, which in life, is the most important aspect of the self to embrace.

In other news, my imperfect golf swing remains a work in progress.... looks like light rain, 45 degrees Saturday.... Count me in!

An exert from a recent creation:

"All that I've wronged
depletes me
Everywhere I've gone
isn't nothing to see
Without the breeze
one cannot feel ease
Only a seconds worth
completes thee
Yet all that I've done
depletes me
I wish I could sing her
this song sweetly
With it all in the sun
we could see clearly
Together; completely"

Funny

If I believe I have written the perfect song, but no one hears it, is the song only perfect to my own ear? Everyone hears something different, and I hypothesize that the perfect song is either:

1) Heard the exact same to every individual ear
2) Heard completely different to each personal ear

So, does the song I intend to create have to be uniform or unique? Would it be fair to call common music like pop and rap uniform and indie/instrumental music unique? I guess it depends on a person's perception, of which determines favoritism towards the uniformity or unique beauty in the nature of my song writing effort.
To conclude my random thought process of the day, I profess that it is indeed important to be unique, to sound different, however influential to sound uniform, to sound appealing to all. Finding the perfect harmony in these two polar opposites is the key to successful musical creation.
