That is the simplest example of inference from experience. A very complex example would be my undertaking of becoming a Camp Laney Counselor this summer. I will be living in the woods for 3 months, learning completely new perspectives about life from 8-14 year old boys. Their stories and jokes might influence a feeling of nostalgia, but that is the base of growth into new self-development.
I'm anxious about throwing myself into a whole new world for 3 months. Unlike studying abroad, I am completely aiming for self-growth and maturity through exploring a former major part of who I am (I was a camper for 8 years) and understanding what lessons brought me to this present reality.
